My photographs are always taken on site during a time when water drops, frost, snow or dew are present or when the subject presents itself in a natural but spectacular way. Photos often use a macro lens and are usually hand-held at same level as the subjects. This allows photos to show details that can only be seen closeup, where the viewer is part of the macro world.
Flowers
Often the inspiration for paintings, the variety for colors and shapes are endless.
Grasses
One of my favorite subjects has always been grasses in the early morning, often with the morning dew or frost. The play of textures, colors, lines, and drops create dynamic visuals.
Frost
Mornings often started with frost on grasses and flowers. Nature temporarily captured and still.
Leaves
Even the humble leaf can be a beautiful thing, each with unique shapes and colors.
Water
Water in all forms has always held a fascination for me. I especially like how drops would maginify their environment, bring life to each morning or creating reflections.
Creatures
Abundant creatures could be found among the grasses and flowers, each exploring their own worlds… with me as a witness.
